The Hodson Family have been servicing and restoring classic road cars and preparing historic race cars in Twyford, Leicestershire, for over 35 years. Barry (proprietor Richards father) purchased the house and outbuildings in the late 70′s to work as a one man band on the restoration of classic cars, over the past 35 years the business has grown from those humble one man beginnings to the family focused team operating from the same expanded site today.

With the expansion of the business, and to meet our client’s requirements, we invested in a new Iveco covered vehicle transporter with a specialist covered tilt and slide body for easy and safe loading. The 10 tonne capacity makes it capable of carrying the complete range of Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars, including the heavy pre-war cars, limousines and the armoured versions. We use the transporter to collect and deliver cars within the UK for repair, delivering sales cars and general transport of cars for clients. For example; to and from start and finish points of classic car rallies and to air and sea ports when cars are taken abroad. The major advantage of this service is that your pride and joy will be returned clean with no unnecessary miles clocked up. This is offered as an at cost service to clients charging @ £1.50 per mile +VAT.

Chris Day, owner of Mack logistics, has been around classic and vintage vehicles all his life and has a healthy passion for all aspects of performance, classic and vintage cars. About REC: In 2014 fellow Danes Christian and Jonathan, two childhood friends, decided to merge their two passions for cars and watches and create something unique around these two obsessions. The concept behind REC is simple as there is no made up storytelling behind the brand, rather the storytelling is built directly within the watches as we incorporate components of automotive icons within our watches. For each line of watches we create a unique design, as we strive to encapsulate all the design references from the particular car and boil them down into a watch design. About the collaboration: The project began with California-based Gunther Werks posing a hypothetical question: What if Porsche had developed a 993 GT3RS?From the process of creating the 993 GT3RS, Gunther Werks offered us with the opportunity to use carbon fiber from the roof panels of the Exoskeleton and the Chelsea Grey build process. We then granulated and reforged this material with new carbon fiber to create the visible middle section of the 901 GW Exoskeleton and Chelsea case. Developed in close collaboration with Gunther Werks founder and CEO Peter Nam, these ultra-limited edition timepieces have been designed to capture the unique blend of rugged beauty and superlative performance that characterizes all Gunther Werks creations. Once this is complete, the car is fitted with a 4.0 L naturally aspirated air-cooled engine, hand-built and expertly tuned by Rothsport Racing to develop over 400 bhp and 330 lb/ft.
