The car gained notoriety when it appeared on the inside cover of Clapton's 1977 album, "Slowhand," showcasing damage from an early accident. After covering just 43 miles, Clapton was involved in a crash that left the vehicle with significant damage.
Following the accident, the Ferrari was sold in October 1975 to a new owner who undertook extensive repairs and repainted it in a striking red hue.
